Privacy and Personal Data Processing Policy

Current version dated August 27, 2026

1. General Provisions

This policy defines how the service processes and protects personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

The data controller is Individual entrepreneur Artur Churilov (OGRNIP 317784700274428, INN 781698056498), registered in the Russian Federation. Privacy requests should be sent to support@climate-wear.ru.

By using the website, the user confirms reading this policy.

2. Categories of Data Processed

Without an account, the website processes the selected city and interface preferences, technical data (IP address, user-agent, cookie identifiers), and approximate geolocation when explicitly allowed by the user in the browser.

For a signed-in user, we additionally process: the email address and name received from the sign-in service, the account identifier at that service, and the data the user creates — wardrobe and its items, profiles and outfit parameters, saved cities, trips and events, and notification settings.

The website does not process special categories of personal data.

3. Account and Single Sign-On

Sign-in is handled by the ZERNO single sign-on service (id.zerno.one): it hosts the sign-in form, and this website neither asks for nor stores your password. From the sign-in service we receive a stable account identifier, email address, name, and email-verified flag. The account is linked by that identifier rather than by email, so changing your email does not cost you your wardrobe.

The Russian and international domains are served by separate tenants of the sign-in service, and their audiences are isolated: signing in on whattowear.now does not sign you in on climate-wear.ru and vice versa.

4. Purposes and Legal Bases

Data is processed to provide website functionality, weather and outfit recommendations, account and wardrobe features, security, service analytics, and legal compliance. Legal bases include user consent, performance of the user-requested service, and legitimate interest in reliable service operation.

5. Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Sharing is limited to what is necessary for operating the service — the ZERNO sign-in service, the infrastructure hosting provider, and analytics providers — or where required by law.

Data is stored on servers located in the Russian Federation. By using the international domain you acknowledge that your data is processed there.

6. Retention and Deletion

Data is retained no longer than necessary for processing purposes or legal obligations. Account data is kept while the account exists; after account deletion or withdrawal of consent it is deleted or anonymized within 30 calendar days unless otherwise required by law.

7. Data Subject Rights

Users may obtain information about the processing of their data, request correction, restriction, or deletion, withdraw consent and request account deletion, and lodge a complaint with a competent authority or a court. Requests go to support@climate-wear.ru or via the Contacts page.

8. Data Security

We apply legal, organizational, and technical safeguards to protect personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction: traffic is encrypted (HTTPS), the session is kept in a signed cookie, and data access is limited to authorized persons.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Detailed information about cookie types, purposes, and retention periods is available in the separate Cookie Policy.
